Storm

blue-grey sea
white waves crashing
grass, gorse and heather
rain on my window

    1. Thank you - to my shame I've stopped blogging - your kind comment made me think I should resume.

  2. Delighted to find your blog, Mavis, via your comment on mine, for which thank you! As for Hen Harriers, well, we have watched them on the Ross of Mull. Utterly splendid birds. We have a lot of Marsh Harrier sightings here, particularly at Minsmere. Ah, Islay ... we watched the ferries from Kintyre, and tried to work out whether we could see your island in the stunning sunset (complete with sundog, rain etc.) from a place near the Kilberry Stones. Jura was very prominent, but I guess we were looking towards Islay in the south. We took the short ferries, and enjoyed days on Gigha and Arran. We usually go to Raasay, but the weather was too unpromising at that point.
